Senior JAVA Developer(AWS)

Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for Senior JAVA Developer with AWS to join the team of IT professionals in a permanent role. This position requires the associate to work from the Client's Office all 5 days in a week in Jersey City, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Develop Microservices with Spring Boot for the Java based application
• Develop API using Microservices Architecture in AWS Cloud platform
• Work with Business and Product Teams to gather requirements and translate to Design and Code
• Work in Agile environment with regular Sprints
• Provide POC/Demo to Business Teams at the end of each Sprint

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years' experience
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages; Core Java
• Java development experience with knowledge of Java 1.7 and 1.8 features
• Develop, Deploy, and scale applications in AWS Cloud Platform
• Spring Framework
• RESTful micro services
• Oracle PL/SQL DB knowledge is required
• Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
