About The Position

The Senior Java Developer position at Infosys involves working collaboratively with key stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The role focuses on requirements gathering, application architecture design, and delivering high-quality code. The developer will lead testing validation and support implementation activities, contributing to a culture of teamwork, learning, and diversity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience with Java8/J2EE, Microservices, Spring Boot, and frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, web-services, REST services, API Security, OAuth, and Spring Security Framework.
• At least 1 year of experience with React JS/Angular.
• Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), Azure, or AWS.
• Experience in software development life cycle and project life cycle activities.

Nice To Haves

• Lead experience with a minimum of 3-4 team members.
• 2-4 years of experience in design and architecture review.
• Familiarity with DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, and manual deployments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a global delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with key collaborators across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Elicit requirements and define application architecture.
• Create high-level design artifacts and deliver high-quality code results for a module.
• Lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.
• Collaborate in a learning culture that encourages teamwork and values diversity.
