About The Position

Apexon is seeking a highly skilled IT professional with a strong background in web service development and integration, particularly within the automotive sector. The role involves designing, developing, deploying, testing, and maintaining technical assets in a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various enterprise services and micro-service concepts, as well as familiarity with DevOps practices in a cloud environment. This position is crucial for driving business transformation and delivering human-centric digital experiences for our clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7+ years overall IT experience, including 5+ years of web service development and integration experience.
• Strong experience with Automotive OEM.
• Solid understanding of enterprise services and micro-service concepts.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, SpringBoot, and related technologies.
• Experience with cloud and continuous integration tools (e.g., SVN/GIT, Jenkins, Maven).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Unix shell scripting, Perl).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with DevOps in a cloud environment.
• Knowledge of software design and UML modeling.
• Familiarity with Spring Batch Framework and general MVC frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, test, and maintain technical assets in a SOA environment.
• Develop web services and integration solutions using Java APIs and tools such as SpringBoot.
• Utilize various enterprise services and micro-service concepts in project execution.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms like Single Sign-On, SAML, and OAuth.
• Work with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL databases for data management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies and Atlassian tools (Jira & Confluence).
• Conduct unit testing and ensure code quality using frameworks like Junit and Mockito.
