About The Position

The Senior Java Developer at Synechron Inc. is responsible for designing, creating, and implementing Java-based solutions for various business needs, including mobile applications and database programming. Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience
• Experience in managing the delivery of software projects
• Proficiency in Spring Boot and Microservices
• Experience with Java 11, Spring framework, basics around SQL, and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with message platforms like Kafka, JMS, or MQ equivalents
• Experience with Agile software development practices and tools
• UNIX, Linux, and Shell scripting experience
• Experience with Oracle and MS-SQL databases

Nice To Haves

• Preferred banking experience

Responsibilities

• Write code for Proof-of-concepts and prototypes in support of solution architecture activities
• Provide controls and information on performance management improvements
• Review and contribute to the definition of functional and non-functional business requirements
• Lead design, coding, unit testing, and debugging applications in various software languages
• Develop technical specifications for COTS software and configure products based on specifications
• Maintain thorough subject matter expertise of functionality and solution architecture
