Responsibilities

• Build and Optimize backend applications for heavy traffic and performance.
• Build high performance, reliable, scalable & secure integration with external parties.
• Create lightweight APIs for easy client and SDK communication.
• Ensure high quality of service (QoS) and maintain strong security standards.
• Tackle complex problems with innovative solutions and foster openness and continuous team improvement.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering leaders, and architects on new requirements.
• Lead complex technical designs of systems architecture and components built using Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot.
• Work with other team members on design, architecture, code reviews, etc.
• Contribute to the entire application lifecycle (development, testing, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, etc.).
• Continuously maintain and improve existing server components.

Requirements

• 10 Year of strong experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot for backend development.
• Experience in designing and building different API Architectural Styles - REST, Webhook, SOAP, GraphQL services.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS is a plus.
• Ability to write test cases and automated tests.
• Strong Object-Oriented Design Skills.
• Experience working in Agile development methodology.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Good understanding of API Security Best Practices for building secure applications.
• Familiarity with TeamCity integration, build tools.
• Good understanding of data security standards.
