About the position

The Senior Lead Agile Transformation Coach at Wells Fargo will provide transformation vision and guidance to leadership on modern agile practices. This role is pivotal in creating roadmaps for transitioning from current to target states, fostering a culture of technical learning and continuous improvement, and aligning operating models with technology and product leadership. The coach will work closely with engineering leadership to define products and services, while also driving priorities across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and act as an advisor to senior leadership and teams to guide and influence transformational change for highly complex business needs.
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise to translate Agile and product theory into practical actions.
  • Coach for discovery of products and continuous delivery of customer-centric work, including creation of product roadmaps and iterative application development.
  • Foster maturation of Agile behaviors and delivery concepts across all levels of staff.
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex challenges by asking open, analytical questions.
  • Create, gain buy-in for, and implement proactive coaching plans to evolve the skills of team members.
  • Actively participate in forums and communities of practice to provide strategic thought leadership.
  • Guide product managers and product owners on the beneficial use of metrics for continuous improvements.
  • Provide vision, direction, and mentoring for peer coaches and Scrum Masters.
  • Guide an effective agile transformation across lines of business.
  • Drive definition and implementation of product operating model focusing on consistent Customer Experiences.
  • Provide transformation vision for leadership to understand modern agile practices and help create roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership and architects to help define products and services for target state.
  • Enable a culture of technical learning and continuous improvement.
  • Align operating models and blueprints with technology and product leadership.
  • Ensure coordinated delivery and strong collaboration across technology and product owners.
  • Optimize engagement through expert knowledge of agile practices.
  • Accountable for program/product/project delivery of significant risk and complexity.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the product line and various support partners.
  • Establish priorities and drive accountability for assigned initiatives.
  • Work with key internal and/or external partners to distill complex concepts into pragmatic solutions.
  • Develop and implement reporting/information delivery/presentations with key stakeholders.
  • Provide direction to a cross-functional team using business acumen and expertise.
  • Manage a team of agilest including Scrum Masters and Scrum Master Managers.
  • Define and substantiate cost of Agile Transformation Investments.
  • Drive Agile tools standardization and implementation.
  • Align Agile Transformation with technology modernization initiatives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Agile (Coaching, Scrum or product owner) experience.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting complex organizational change.
  • 4+ years of experience in providing thought-leadership and building alignment with multiple stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Agile based certification (Scrum, PMP or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills.
  • Ability to deliver & engage with partners effectively in a complex environment.
  • Ability to develop and execute business vision, strategies, and goals.
  • A bachelor degree or higher in technology related field or equivalent experience preferred.
