Senior Maintenance Technician - Second Shift

Responsibilities

• Perform highly diversified duties to install, repair, and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
• Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Repairs of building and associated mechanical systems.
• Scheduling and supervision of outside contractors.
• Maintains records for all repairs and maintenance of production equipment.
• Obtains estimates from outside contractors to perform equipment and/or building modifications and repairs.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma required, technical college preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Minimum 7 years' experience hands-on equipment repair.
• Industrial Electrical panel building experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of extrusion processing equipment.
• Must be able to program/troubleshoot and maintain electronic control systems including PLCs and Temperature control units.
• Experienced working with building electrical to 480 VDC.
• Knowledge and experience of facility utilities mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience in manual and computer-based documentation control and development.
• Ability to communicate well in person, in writing, and by telephone with customers and other company personnel.
• Must be a team player, as well as being able to work independently.
