About the position

The Senior Manager, IT Operations and Infrastructure will be responsible for overseeing the IT operations and infrastructure of the organization. This role involves managing a team of IT professionals, ensuring the stability and efficiency of IT systems, and implementing strategic initiatives to support the company's goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the IT operations and infrastructure team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations
  • Oversee technology teams in the U.S. and India for Cloud, Windows, Network, and Helpdesk operations
  • Lead technology outage investigations with a high sense of urgency
  • Administer the cloud infrastructure design and architecture for Azure and AWS
  • Develop and present cloud strategy and utilization reports to the IT Executive Leadership Team
  • Ensure compliance with cloud security protocols in collaboration with IT Security
  • Assist in creating and managing the annual IT budget
  • Collaborate with the legal department to process vendor contracts, NDAs, and order forms
  • Provide training and support to employees whose roles require interaction with cloud-based services
  • Partner with other departments to determine their IT requirements and provide effective solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related technical discipline OR 10+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 8+ years of IT operations and infrastructure management experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Cloud or Network Engineer
  • 3+ years of proven leadership and team management experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word)
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems
  • Able to participate in on-call rotation for 24x7 support
  • Stay abreast of new technologies, services and trends in cloud landscape which can improve performance and/or save costs
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT issues, ensuring timely resolution
