About the position

The Senior Manager, IT Solution Architect will manage the successful design and delivery of solutions for the Supply Chain business partner groups using Agile methodologies. This role involves defining and designing the target state supply chain journey to address significant opportunity areas for improved customer experience, customer growth, and differentiation through personalization and automation. The manager will lead the delivery of complex projects that deliver value to the business and foster an environment of continuous improvement. They will facilitate Agile team ceremonies and guide the team to achieve project goals while ensuring Agile methodologies are followed and best practices are influenced. The position requires effective communication of product and initiative status to management, balancing agility with the reliability of core IT functions, and building relationships with business groups and IT colleagues to meet business needs. Additionally, the manager will lead, develop, and coach the Application Delivery team, fostering a business-oriented culture driven by continual service improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of complex projects that deliver value to the business and foster an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate Agile team ceremonies and effectively guide the team to achieve project goals.
  • Ensure Agile methodologies are being followed while influencing best practices, process improvements, and procedures.
  • Serve as the primary resource for any issues, roadblocks, and risks and hold responsibility for their resolution.
  • Create and deliver presentations and reports to management team, communicating product and/or initiative status.
  • Balance growing agility required to achieve business objectives with ensuring core IT functions are reliable, stable, and efficient.
  • Build and maintain relationships with assigned business groups and IT colleagues to develop a clear understanding of business needs.
  • Work and collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to foster a business-oriented culture and ensure alignment between IT and business functions.
  • Lead, develop, and coach the assigned Application Delivery team to improve IT capabilities necessary to increase organizational performance.
  • Foster a business-oriented culture and mindset within the assigned Application Delivery team driven by a continual service improvement approach.
  • Other job duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems or related area is required.
  • 8+ years of combined experience in digital product or supply chain processes including demand planning and supply planning.
  • 8+ years of hands-on project experience in the design, development, and delivery of business process solutions.
  • 5+ years of team leadership or management experience with a focus on the delivery of business process solutions.
  • Proven experience in defining architectural solution strategies, building business cases, analyzing systems requirements, designing and prototyping solutions, defining testing requirements, and implementing practical solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of other core and enabling processes and technologies.
  • Ability to provide oversight across multiple initiatives or projects.
  • Excellent verbal, written, listening and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.
  • Strong leader with a hands-on, led by example approach.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated, highly professional, and results-oriented.
  • Willingness to share knowledge with the team and provide input for technology-driven projects and issues.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Visio and Project.
  • Proficient with SAP PP, PPDS, O9 planning system or IBP.
  • Strong experience with digital capabilities and solutions, including technology expertise around top personalization platforms, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with an Agile operating model preferred.
  • Proficient in English; Portuguese is a plus.
