About the position

As Senior Manager of Sales Incentive Operations, you will play a pivotal role in leading the strategy, operations, and analytics for a high-performance customer-facing team. This position is based in Nashville, TN, and involves supporting compensation plan administration while collaborating closely with the Commissions Manager on the setup and execution of these plans. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that commissions are paid to sales teams accurately and on time, in compliance with company policies. In this role, you will manage the commissions payment process, ensuring that all payments are made accurately and in a timely manner. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders to research, address, and resolve any compensation disputes that arise, applying new processes to prevent future discrepancies. Additionally, you will interface with sales management, sales operations, data providers, and the Customer Fulfillment Center team to review and analyze data, ensuring that sales representatives are credited accurately for their transactions. You will also be instrumental in providing requirements, data elements, and recommendations for technical system builds and enhancements. Your focus on continuous improvement will be essential as you meet deadlines and quickly resolve inquiries. Furthermore, you will make recommendations for changes to compensation systems to ensure timely and accurate payments, and you will serve as a subject matter expert on complex processes or issues related to compensation payment review and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commissions payment to sales teams on time, accurately and in compliance with the company policies
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders in researching, addressing, and resolving compensation disputes, and apply new processes to avoid further discrepancies
  • Interface with sales management, sales operations, data providers and Customer Fulfillment Center team to review and analyze data to ensure sales reps are accurately credited for transactions
  • Play a key role in providing requirements, data elements, and recommendations for technical system builds and enhancements
  • Drive continuous improvement, meet deadlines and quickly resolve inquiries
  • Make recommendations for changes to compensation systems to ensure timely and accurate payments
  • Be a subject matter expert on complex processes or issues to compensation payment review and analysis

Requirements

  • 7+ years in sales compensation administration for complex businesses with multiple plans
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant master's preferred
  • Strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SQL, data mining, and big data analytics
  • Experience with Anaplan compensation software preferred
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills
