About the position

The Senior Manager, Sales Operations will play a vital role in optimizing initiatives for our expanding business and team. This position will focus on improving predictability in our fast-paced environment by establishing essential processes and checkpoints for smooth execution and revenue delivery across Walmart and Sam's Club businesses. The Senior Manager, Sales Operations will provide the guidance, tools, and processes needed to create clear monthly workflows and predictable outcomes in revenue delivery, forecast accuracy, and trade spend management. A successful Senior Manager, Sales Operations must be process-driven, detail-oriented, financially grounded and a LOVE for tackling complex issues.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and tracking internal forecasts (Volume, Value, Trade Spend, JBP Metrics)
  • Collaborating on external forecast alignment initiatives with replenishment teams
  • Managing order processes in coordination with Customer Service (PO Creation, Confirmation, Fill %)
  • Executing inventory management strategies, including Direct Import and Instock Optimization
  • Lead our Sales Operation function on the Walmart / Sam's team, inclusive of setting the direction and mentoring a small team of Sales Operations Managers
  • Drive the monthly consensus forecast process, ensuring on time deliverables
  • Collaborate with finance teams to drive initiatives aimed at optimizing EBITDA
  • Lead Joint Business Planning initiatives in collaboration with the broader Walmart/Sam's Club team
  • Develop and implement strategies and framework required to effectively communicate brand-level financial and spend updates
  • Prepare and present financial and booking updates to senior management for Walmart and Sam's Club
  • Work closely with internal accounting teams and third-party services to reconcile post-audit claims

Requirements

  • A 'fixer' with a passion for identifying gaps and drive fast solutions
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring small teams
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning, or a business analytics/financial role within the consumer products industry - a deep financial and planning acumen strongly preferred
  • Ability to analyze and derive insights from multiple complex data sets to inform decision-making
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite
  • Strong communication, organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented, able to prioritize tasks, and capable of juggling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude
