About the position

As the Senior Manager of Sales Operations at GXO Logistics, you will oversee and optimize all aspects of the sales process to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational goals. This role involves analyzing sales data, implementing sales strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth and enhance overall sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present regular reports, dashboards, and presentations on sales performance, key metrics, and initiatives to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company's objectives and market conditions.
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, generating insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales pipeline analysis, working closely with sales teams to establish realistic sales targets and quotas.
  • Partner with other departments, such as marketing, finance, and product development, to ensure alignment and collaboration across functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Marketing or equivalent related work or military experience.
  • 5 years of direct experience in sales support or equivalent experience, preferably in B2B solutions or managing B2B sales teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and metrics and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience in developing and tracking sales metrics and KPIs.
  • Knowledge of sales enablement technologies (CRM tools), processes, and best practices.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and managing teams.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and highly driven to produce results.
