About the position

The Senior Manager, Sales Strategy and Operations at Atlassian will lead a team of sales strategy analysts to support the Solution Sales Overlay and Solution Engineer organizations. This role is pivotal in driving insights and enhancing the effectiveness of the sales strategy team, focusing on stakeholder management, team management, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic operations. The position requires a proactive approach to improve business processes and the ability to operate independently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of two senior analysts to support the Solution Overlay Sales and Solution Engineer organizations.
  • Act as a strategic business partner to the Solution Overlay Sales and Solution Engineer leadership team.
  • Drive execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with business leaders.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting capabilities and execute go-to-market strategies.
  • Manage forecasting, M/QBR preparation, annual and quarterly planning, and OKR setting.
  • Analyze business health and present recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
  • Foster a proactive team environment focused on impact and urgency in project execution.
  • Coach, mentor, and guide the team to success in their roles.
  • Continuously improve business processes from diagnosis to execution.
  • Utilize advanced analytics and Excel skills to derive actionable insights from data.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Strategy, BizOps, or Analytics within a B2B (ideally SaaS) company or in a strategy consulting environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to build detailed models and derive insights from data.
  • Experience managing a team and a passion for coaching and mentoring others.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive initiatives.
  • Comfortable presenting to C-level executives and conducting hands-on data analysis.
