About the position

The Senior Manager, Solar Project Management role at RWE Clean Energy is responsible for leading the execution of renewable energy projects, focusing on defining project scope, developing budgets, and creating schedules. This position requires strong technical leadership and effective communication to ensure project goals are met while coordinating workflows across various departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly competent technical leadership resulting in successful project delivery
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders
• Coordinate project workflows across multiple departments to ensure compliance with project objectives
• Perform Quality Analysis/Quality Control of key deliverables
• Proactively manage the execution of project contracts and review change orders and invoices
• Assure timely execution of the project within established schedule and budgetary constraints
• Maintain communication with senior management and project groups, preparing progress status reports as required

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction related field from an accredited university
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience; 5 years of progressive project management experience
• Construction field experience is preferred
• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks
• Ability to multi-task, working independently and as part of a team
• Motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities
• Proven ability to empathize and build relationships with diverse backgrounds
