Responsibilities

  • Work closely with partners across various lines of business, Marketing, agencies, and vendors to deliver marketing programs that drive the brand and business forward.
  • Champion brand marketing and contribute to planning, development, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns supporting the CIBC brand and key strategic pillars.
  • Ensure effective project management including planning, briefing, execution, and measurement of key initiatives.
  • Develop and lead the marketing processes from brief writing through to execution and reporting across multi-channel campaigns.
  • Work with business partners (internal/external) to execute against approved strategy and implement measures for success.
  • Provide leadership on the Brand team, influencing both internal and external partners as you deliver Mass Brand Campaigns & strategic work.
  • Manage internal approval processes on programs and campaigns.
  • Ensure initiatives deliver against plan objectives, are aligned to strategic priorities, and support key marketing principles.
  • Maintain internal cross-functional relationships.
  • Engage with third-party suppliers and agency partners.
  • Manage related budget reporting for assigned initiatives.
  • Coordinate tracking results and conducting post-campaign analysis with other departments such as research stakeholders.
  • Ensure ongoing communication and manage ongoing weekly status updates on all aspects of assigned projects and responsibilities owned.
  • Proactively identify new and effective ways to maximize brand potential and ROI.
  • Build and develop relationships with key stakeholder contacts to become a true trusted business partner.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing.
  • Experience working in the US marketplace and implementing brand strategies in this region.
  • College Business/Marketing degree is an asset.

  • Expected salary range of $135,000-$160,000 based on experience, qualifications, and location.
