About the position

In this role, you will apply your knowledge of electrical components, interiors, systems integration, or structural assembly and installation to collaborate and influence our multidisciplinary Product Design Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Facilities teams in the development of a new eVTOL aircraft. You will assist on and off aircraft builds for electrical components, interior closeouts, metallic and composite assemblies, wiring harnesses, and/or composite secondary bonding. Additionally, you will support the Test Aircraft shop floor through Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA), red line activities, continuous improvement, and rework/repair instructions. Your responsibilities will also include supporting the implementation of process control plans to ensure process capability, conducting process failure mode and analysis (PFMEA) for the production system, and supporting first unit builds, first article inspections (FAI), and testing of the production system. You will utilize your knowledge of industry standard components and various forms of engineering and technical information to develop the manufacturing Build Plan, including line layout, manufacturing work instructions, part flow, tools, equipment, precedence network, and testing processes. Furthermore, you will develop specifications for tooling and automated equipment for our Manufacturing Tooling Team to implement, drive the Design for Manufacturability efforts with our Product Design team, and review engineering design releases for manufacturability, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and complete process requirement definition.
