As the Senior MRI Technologist, you will perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require an in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology. Advanced imaging skills and techniques would be demonstrated by competence in 3 or more of the following advanced imaging applications: MR Angiography (MRA) - cardiac and advanced cardiac/CVMR, peripheral vascular/PVMR, and or neurovascular - EPI applications: DWI, PWI, DTI, ASL; MR Spectroscopy (MRS) - Brain, or Breast, or Prostate; MR Enterography, MR Defecography and MR Prostate with endo-rectal coil; Interventional MR - MR Guided fine needle breast and or prostate biopsies; Functional MR (fMRI) - Brain; Therapeutic MR (HiFu) - Fibroid tumors. You will be expected to support all imaging centers staffed by our organization.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 3 years MRI Experience - required.
  • Combination of the ARRT and CRT - required. MR certificate required.
  • Combination of the ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) - required.
  • Venipuncture certificate - required.
  • BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required.
  • Graduate from an AMA Radiologic Technologist Program - required.

Nice-to-haves

  • AA or BS - preferred.
  • Siemens experience - preferred.
  • Demonstrates competence in modifying protocols as required producing optimal diagnostic images.
  • Demonstrates ability to train additional MR staff.
