About the position

Be part of a legendary landmark destination at the newly renovated Casa Marina by joining our sales team as a Senior Outside Sales Manager! Casa Marina is located in the southernmost point in the U.S., Key West, and embodies the elegance and character of Old Key West, offering an exciting opportunity to be a part of this award-winning team. Nestled along the southern edge of the island overlooking more than 1,100 feet of private beach, this historic hotel has 311 rooms, 4 food and beverage outlets, and over 11,000 square feet of banquet space. This role will focus on corporate and incentive business within the Midwest market. The ideal candidate will possess 3 to 5 years of hotel sales experience. Hilton, resort, or luxury experience is preferred. This position allows for remote work, provided the candidate is located in the Midwest market.

Responsibilities

• Represent the hotel's services and facilities to prospective clients and customers.
• Respond to inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food and beverage services, etc.
• Travel primarily outside the hotel to initiate new sales, solicit leads, hold conferences, and make sales proposals and presentations.
• Host and entertain clients and maintain client accounts.
• Determine rates and negotiate contracts.
• Develop sales strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of hotel sales experience.
• Experience in Hilton, resort, or luxury settings is preferred.
• Ability to travel primarily outside the hotel for sales activities.

Nice-to-haves
