Senior Product Application Engineer

About the position

Responsible for all Industrial Motion Controls Business Unit products and provide technical support and training for internal and external customers, identify key target customers/applications, and participate in new product projects as interface between business and market.

Responsibilities

• Create sales training material and application proposals/platforms
• Join customer visits to support sales with detailed product knowledge
• Provide technical answers and support to customers and distributors
• Work closely with all functional areas of the business to meet the quality, schedule, technical performance, and cost goals
• Develop and execute tactical and strategic technology plans in support of the overall sales strategy and to meet performance expectations and requirements
• Specify and initiate product modifications based on customer needs
• Input on what products to promote and new product options to product managers
• Lead projects for customer prototypes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 4 years experience with hydraulics applications including all types of hydraulic/proportional valves
• Able to work in the US, without sponsorship, both now and in the future
