About the position

The Senior Product Designer will play a crucial role in the New Modes team at DoorDash, focusing on enhancing the consumer experience by connecting online and offline dining. This position involves exploring innovative use cases and contributing to the product strategy that impacts millions of customers. The designer will work collaboratively to tackle complex problems and refine design solutions, ultimately shaping the future of DoorDash's services.

Responsibilities

• Contribute directly to DoorDash's consumer product strategy and define the future of our service.
• Explore complex, ambiguous problem spaces, working with your team to understand the opportunity, and then chart a path forward.
• Explore and refine design solutions through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual design.
• Influence your team's approach to product development, shaping the team's culture, processes, and practices.
• Improve the lives of millions of DoorDash customers every day.

Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience as a senior level designer with a strong consumer experience portfolio across mobile and web.
• Ability to raise a high bar for craft at scale.
• Mastery of the design process to bring clarity to complex problem spaces.
• Strong facilitation skills to collaborate across different functions.
• Systems-thinking approach to translate complexity into intuitive experiences.
