About the position

The Senior Product Designer - Platform Design System at Zeta Global is responsible for developing and maintaining the design system and enhancing the Data Visualization Library. This role focuses on creating impactful user experiences that simplify complex marketing tasks for users across various organizations. The designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive and effective design solutions, ensuring that the product meets user needs and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Help with develop and maintain our design system
• Refresh our Data Visualization Library
• Create, maintain and improve a Data Visualization Library which the Product Design Team can leverage easily, and effectively
• Design solutions to real problems and ship great features in our UI
• Craft new product features, from idea to UX to pixel-perfect execution
• Work relentlessly to understand our customers
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and product to craft thorough experiences that are a joy to use
• Work in the best medium for the stage of the product development lifecycle you're in, whether that be documents, mockups, prototypes, or presentations
• Orient solutions around clear goals, audiences, timeframes, and realistic technical capabilities while always pushing to deliver the best possible experience
• Participate in design reviews and share your work regularly with the design/product team and company leadership
• Build functional prototypes
• Create design patterns that are intuitive, practical, and convergent. Evolve our design system intentionally as we scale.

Requirements

• 8+ years of working experience designing consumer or business SaaS applications
• Experience in advertising agency or early-stage startup environments
• Ability to create clear, intuitive, and visually appealing human interfaces (UI)
• Experience in untangling vague conceptual problems and creating accessible mental models and flows (UX)
• Experience designing Data systems with complex information hierarchy
• Ability to make data-driven design decisions
• Strong portfolio showcasing work and examples of functional designs developed from start to finish

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in the data and AI space
• Familiarity with Android/iOS patterns
• Experience with motion design
• Ability to polish features in the codebase
• Basic coding skills in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
• Experience with React-level JavaScript
