About the position

Product designers at Envoy lead the creation of new products and the entire user experience of Envoy's products. Fundamentally, we believe that workplaces are better when they work for the people who use them. Product designers at Envoy push the boundaries and seek to be recognized for great design. We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team and lead the design efforts for our workplace technology solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting intuitive, elegant, and impactful experiences that enhance how employees interact with their workspaces. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, and Data Science to translate user needs and business goals into thoughtful design solutions. This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday) in our San Francisco HQ.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end design process, from user research and concept development to prototyping, visual design, and final execution.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to deeply understand user behavior and needs.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to align on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Contribute to and maintain Envoy's design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all products and touchpoints.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to innovate in workplace technology.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS B2B product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in UX/UI design, particularly in complex, data-driven environments.
  • Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
  • Strong understanding of front-end development principles.
  • Ability to tackle complex design challenges and distill them into simple, intuitive user experiences.
  • Experience with design systems and a strong understanding of UX/UI best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
