About the position

As a Senior Product Designer at TEKsystems, you will play a pivotal role in the modernization and acceleration of our Service Product Group (SPG). This position involves creating software applications that are essential for managing credit card and retail accounts, which currently rely on outdated internal tools that have been in use for over 30 years. Your primary focus will be on combining two distinct applications into a single, cohesive solution, addressing complex problems that arise during this integration process. You will be expected to leverage your systems thinking skills to analyze how these applications can effectively come together to enhance user experience and operational efficiency. In this role, you will lead research initiatives to gather insights and feedback from stakeholders, ensuring that the design process is informed by real user needs. Your ability to manage stakeholder relationships will be crucial, as you will be responsible for presenting your ideas and design concepts to leadership. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the design process, jump in with both feet, and drive the project forward with confidence and creativity. Your expertise in product design, UX design, interaction design, visual design, and UX research will be essential as you work with tools like Figma to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces. You will also conduct upfront research, including stakeholder and user interviews, usability testing, and information architecture, to inform your design decisions. Given the complexity of the existing systems, which include over 300 workflows in one application and 100+ workflows in another, your ability to create effective taxonomies will be a key asset in this role.
