Senior Product Manager

About the position

As a Senior Product Manager at Taxbit, you should be passionate about software and people. You will help us manage our product lifecycle and be at the forefront of solving some of the most complex problems in the fintech world. You will play a crucial role on our product team, delivering exceptional software functionality for our partners and clients. The ideal candidate is a highly experienced Senior Project Manager who possesses a strong understanding of technology and excels at managing complex projects from conception to completion. You will collaborate closely with the team, contributing your expertise to drive successful project outcomes. We value your ability to quickly learn new domains (such as tax and accounting lingo, cryptocurrency, etc.) and your passion for ensuring our clients have the best possible experience. A 'do-whatever-it-takes' mentality and a dedication to delivering outstanding results are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, CPAs, and other leadership to ensure on-time delivery of product features
• Maintain consistent feedback loops with internal stakeholders and users of the product to gather ideas for unmet needs and general feedback collection
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and designers to break down requirements and user research into tangible pieces of work for the team
• Feature-specific planning, feature roadmap development, and integration of product vision
• Track and measure metrics to evaluate the impact of a specific feature and analyze product data to derive insights for prioritization and post-release optimization
• Address and respond to issues raised during the rollout & maintenance of specific features and general prioritization and triage of issues for a product
• Document and communicate feature updates to stakeholders, launch updates for tech, and participate in product demos
• Create product overviews for support and community, while maintaining public and internal knowledge bases

Requirements

• 8+ years of total professional experience with 5+ years of product management or technical product management experience
• Ability to distinguish opinion from fact with a data-driven approach using data analytics and product insights collection
• Strong technical knowledge of cloud technologies and ability to work effectively with engineers on high-level system architectures
• Stakeholder and project management experience including the ability to manage projects, deadlines, and handle prioritization with competing pressures
• Ability to work independently to meet clear objectives
• Ability to motivate teams

Nice-to-haves

• Finance, accounting, tax, or crypto industry experience
• Experience working with users that are of a highly technical background (e.g. software engineers, SMEs, and leadership team members)
• Understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) from ideation through sunset where scope may not be clearly defined and the problem space may shift
