About the position

This role is responsible for driving the delivery of technology initiatives focused on revamping Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes. The selected candidate will define and prioritize deliverables in the product, articulating these to both business stakeholders and technology development teams. This position involves performing research to drive business decisions, diagnosing problems, and recommending action plans to remediate issues. The candidate will work closely with Product Managers to define and direct product design and delivery, ensuring alignment with end-user needs and maximizing business value for IAM Modernization. The responsibilities include collaborating with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and problems, communicating the product vision and roadmap, and defining and prioritizing stories in the team product backlog. The role also involves assisting the Product Manager in collaborating with the ART/Program feature backlog, creating and prioritizing stories in the product/team backlog, and facilitating team planning ceremonies for prioritized work. The candidate will collaborate with the Scrum Master to improve flow and enable the team to deliver effectively, ensuring that the product aligns with the overall vision and strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Product Manager in defining the vision and roadmap for the product
  • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and problems
  • Communicate the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and team
  • Define and prioritize stories in the team product backlog
  • Assist the Product Manager in collaborating with the ART/Program feature backlog
  • Create and prioritize stories in the product/team backlog
  • Facilitate team planning ceremonies for backlog/prioritized work
  • Collaborate with Scrum Master to improve flow and enable team to deliver effectively

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 6 to 9+ years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to identify, escalate and communicate issues and progress to management in an effective and succinct manner
  • Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies as well as product management and/or product owner experience
  • SAFE Agile Product Owner Product Manager Certification POPM (or equivalent CSPO / PSPO)
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a role on an agile team
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a Product Owner
  • Experienced in leading customer engagement, with proven background in being a customer advocate
  • Lean-Agile Leadership Mindset and able to coach product/agile principles
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and significantly complex projects and assignments in a production environment with a high level of autonomy and accountability for results
  • High organizational agility and ability of representing the product development team in communication with senior leadership
  • Working experience with agile software development tools such as Jira, Rally, etc.
