About the position

As a Senior Professional Application Designer at Gainwell, you will play a crucial role in leveraging technology to enhance the health and well-being of vulnerable communities. This position involves leading the design, development, testing, and installation of complex application software, ensuring that design requirements align with client expectations and deliver a solid return on investment. You will also serve as a technical consultant for senior management on complex projects, contributing to innovative solutions in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Head up workstreams to design, develop, test and install complex applications software that spans server, client and web components.
• Guide closer connections between application architects and developers to ensure design requirements are accurate.
• Write highly complex design, coding and testing documentation to create a technical product that meets client expectations.
• Perform vital development, domain, application design, web service and database methodologies, and best practices provided by the project advisor and/or architect.
• Serve as a technical consultant to senior management for complex projects, modifying existing apps and designing new application modules.

Requirements

• 6+ years of applications development and programming using VB.NET and ASP.NET.
• Experience using Oracle as a backend database, writing Oracle programs (Queries, Stored Procedures, etc.) and accessing them inside .NET code.
• Experience with Crystal Reports, query tuning, handling XML and JSON datasets.
• Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, Oracle Database, MVC architecture, web services, APIs (REST & SOAP), Agile methodologies, SOAPUI, and Postman.
