The Emerging Capabilities portfolio in the Connected Battlespace Emerging Capabilities (CBEC) business has an immediate need for a Value Stream Leader (VSL) in our growing Cyber portfolio. This Value Stream Leader will lead and support the execution of Integrated Sensing & Cyber related Research & Development programs, both internally and externally funded. The VSL will also lead and organize pursuit and proposal efforts to capture new programs within the Department of Defense and other Agencies. The Value Stream Leader will interface with a cross functional team of other VSLs, business development, strategy, and engineering, manufacturing and operations personnel to develop transition plans for new technologies and capabilities to business units across Mission Systems to fuel future business growth and solve the most challenging and emerging customer mission problems. This position will report to the Level 5 Manager leading the Integrated Sensing & Cyber portfolio. This position is located in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize multiple efforts simultaneously.
• Lead cross functional teams.
• Work effectively with team members in remote locations and time zones.
• Lead and be accountable for Pursuit, Order, Capture activities as part of growing the business.
• Interface with one or more DOD S&T customers (e.g., DARPA, AFRL, NRL, NSA, etc.) during program execution.
• Perform regular program EACs and PMRs with an ability to brief senior leadership.

Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Possess or have the ability to possess a clearance up to the TS/SCI level.
• Experience with products and systems in the following areas: Cyber, communications, datalinks, AI/ML, Autonomy.
• Demonstrated ability to recognize, pursue, and capture discretionary offset opportunities (i.e. customer funded R&D) that directly supports business strategies via direct government support or through other contractors.
• Experience with leveraging efforts and technologies from other Collins Aerospace organizations.
• Experience with EVMS program management and R&O management.
