About the position

Peraton is currently seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to work with us on our Federal Strategic Cyber program located in Arlington, VA. In this role, you will lead and manage project development from inception to deployment, with expertise in cybersecurity, cyber operations, Information Technology (IT)/communication, and/or projects. You will direct all phases of projects from inception through completion and be responsible for all schedule and technical performance of multiple projects or major tasks. You will act independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of operational programs, demonstrating capability to effectively manage multiple cybersecurity, information technology, communications and/or cybersecurity projects. You will also need to have the ability to drive performance in a team environment, assisting in the development of new technologies to address cybersecurity challenges, including advanced visualization solutions, exfiltration detection modeling and analysis, malware detection and automated analysis and modeling, and sandbox analysis systems. Additionally, you will participate in the negotiation of contract and contract changes, coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract. You will act as the primary customer contact for project/task order activities, leading project review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. You will develop a performance measurements framework and facilitate feedback systems to team members on issues such as customer service, communication, and technical skills, to enhance the quality of support delivered. You will also resolve escalated customer, teammate, and vendor issues, maintain a high level of employee morale within the team, assist in the professional and technical development of team leaders, and assist the Department/Program Manager with the preparation and administration of departmental budgets, business plans, and metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of related experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers and/or project management in other industries.
  • Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with resource planning and tracking.
  • Proven efficiency in establishing milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules.
  • Understanding technical concepts and required skillsets for implementing technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams/organizations to achieve a common goal.
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills.
  • U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret Security Clearance, with ability to obtain SCI.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation (EOD) for continued employment.
