About the position

The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in assisting with a large project at Boeing airfield for a family-owned heavy civil general contractor. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, ethics, and integrity, along with effective communication skills to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing construction projects at Boeing airfield.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on-site.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure project milestones are met.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding project progress and challenges.
• Contribute to project planning and execution, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• 2+ years of construction field experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to getting the job done right the first time.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.
• Passion for safety and ability to ensure a safe working environment.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with bridge design.
• Experience in heavy-highway construction.
• Experience with mass grading and excavation.
