About The Position

The Senior Project Management Specialist CAM - Software at Boeing plays a critical role in managing the business and performance of the Mission Systems Integrated Product Team (IPT) on the USAF E-7 Program. This position is responsible for ensuring successful program execution through effective management of scope, schedule, budget, and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) processes. The role requires collaboration with technical leads and program management to drive outcomes and maintain alignment with project objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams in financial processes such as Estimates at Complete (EACs), Long Range Business Plans (LRBPs), Earned Value Management (EVM), and/or Performance Management Baseline (PMB) for large-scale projects.
  • 1+ years of experience in Project Performance Management with DFARS EVM requirements.
  • Experience in Agile, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and DevOps.
  • 5+ years of experience analyzing data and making recommendations based on findings or business case analysis.
  • 5+ years of experience with JIRA.
  • Experience problem solving and supporting corrective action plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Program Management Best Practices are utilized in managing the team's efforts.
  • Establish the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and ensure Control Accounts (CA) align with the Statement of Work (SoW).
  • Work jointly with E-7 Software technical leads to provide continuity between technical execution and schedule.
  • Manage control account performance, identify resource needs, and elevate concerns to the Software IPT Leader and program management.
  • Support Software IPT Lead and Program Manager in developing and executing business and program strategies.
  • Monitor all elements of cost, track EVM performance, and provide monthly updates.
  • Manage weekly EVM inputs and maintain Quantifiable Backup Data (QBD) files and schedule accuracy.
  • Support the identification of cost and schedule impacts and present risks to the program Risk & Opportunity Board.
  • Conduct analysis on actuals for Control Accounts for accuracy.
  • Support development of cost impacts due to change requests and management reserve requests.
  • Complete EACs for assigned Control Accounts monthly and analyze/report variances.
  • Attend weekly Earned Value Meetings and month-end reviews with Program Management.
  • Ensure audit-ready files are maintained for Control Accounts.
