Responsibilities

Serve as Project Manager or Technical Lead for water infrastructure projects with responsibility for providing project oversight and leadership
Provide technical management and leadership for projects in the Northeast, Tri-State or Mid-Atlantic region and occasionally for projects in other parts of the country and world
Plan, organize, and manage the production of project deliverables to ensure on time delivery, technical quality and within budget
Perform civil conveyance design for water and storm and sanitary sewer projects, from preliminary design to detailed design, bidding and construction inspection
Preparation and guidance of engineering calculations, design drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents
Preparation of proposals and technical reports as technical lead of the project team
Prepare technical evidenced proposals as project issues arise with clients, contractors, equipment suppliers/vendors or reviewing agencies
Execute multiple concurrent projects efficiently
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, design calculations, write engineering reports, and select design criteria
Conduct alternative analyses to support business case evaluations for project decisions
Effectively apply industry standards as well as client standards and requirements
Work with project teams to coordinate permits for projects

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil/Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution
Licensed Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain licensure within one year of hire
Minimum of 15 years of experience in water infrastructure design projects
Experience and expertise with the design of conveyance projects in urbanized, congested areas
Experience with the design of water, sewer, and drainage infrastructure 24-inches in diameter and larger
Familiarity with NHDES Clean Water and Drinking Water programs
Good driving record and valid driver's license
