About the position

The Senior Revenue Cycle Application Analyst at UC San Diego Health plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's mission to deliver outstanding patient care. This position involves serving as a technical leader with expertise in Epic Revenue Cycle applications, focusing on design, building, testing, and implementation. The analyst will also provide project management, customer service, troubleshooting, and maintenance, collaborating closely with various departments and third-party vendors to ensure effective revenue cycle operations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical leader in Epic Revenue Cycle applications including Professional Billing, Charge Router, and Claims.
• Design, build, test, and implement Epic Revenue Cycle application systems.
• Provide project management and customer service support.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Epic Revenue Cycle applications.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle operations and third-party vendors on a daily basis.

Requirements

• Nine years of related experience or a Bachelor's Degree in a related area plus five years of related experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Epic build and Revenue Cycle operations with Epic Resolute Professional Billing Certification.
• Advanced problem-resolution skills for complex issues.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for training and collaboration with clinical users.
• Advanced organizational and project management skills.
