About the position

OEC provides software solutions to those who work in the automotive parts and repair industry. Our solutions make it easier for automotive industry professionals to buy and sell parts, conduct repair research & planning, optimize estimates, improve the parts supply chain, and more. OEC partners with many of the world's largest manufacturers, dealers and suppliers, shops and repairers, and service providers, giving our customers access to a comprehensive network and a streamlined workflow. The position serves as a key member of cross-functional teams supporting a portfolio of applications, promoting Agile methodologies and supporting teams in understanding Agile theory, practices, rules, and values. The role involves guiding teams through their workflows to maximize value delivery and helping them make effective decisions, while also determining and implementing organizational improvements to enhance team collaboration and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Works with three teams responsible for coding, validation, debugging, reliability, performance analysis, and ongoing operations within an Agile environment.
  • Determines and implements organizational improvements to boost team collaboration and overall performance.
  • Coaches and guides teams toward self-organization and cultivates a collaborative culture that values problem-solving, constructive feedback, and healthy tension.
  • Supports teams in creating high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done (DoD).
  • Identifies and removes obstacles that hinder team progress.
  • Leads Agile program events and fosters collaboration between teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensures teams remain focused on quality and continuous delivery.
  • Stays informed about emerging Agile practices and proposes innovations.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 6 years of experience as a Scrum Master within cross-functional Agile teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices with a demonstrated ability to apply them effectively.
  • Experience with scaling frameworks such as LeSS, Scrum at Scale, or SAFe.
  • Experience using Agile project management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
  • Prior experience working with teams across different time zones.
