About the position
The Senior Security Platform Analyst - Endpoint Focused at VF plays a crucial role in safeguarding the VF Global Enterprise from cyber threats. This position involves managing and deploying security platforms, strategizing threat prevention, coordinating remediation efforts, and contributing to process improvements within the Security Operations team.
Responsibilities
- Support and manage security platforms with a focus on SASE, Endpoint Protection, and Email Security.
- Create and maintain documentation for security platforms.
- Monitor dashboards within security platforms to enhance security posture.
- Utilize telemetry from security platforms to identify potential issues.
- Perform daily administration tasks, including validating version status of deployed products.
- Administer the secure email gateway to prevent SPAM, Phishing, and Malware.
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring dashboards for security platforms.
- Support cloud security posture management (CSPM) solutions for compliance.
- Perform initial triage of deployment-related issues.
- Maintain endpoint protection rules and policies.
- Document processes and procedures for the SOC.
Requirements
- An associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related fields, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Cybersecurity or IT-related certifications (Security+, GSEC, CISSP, equivalent) are a plus.
- Knowledge of client and server operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux).
- Experience with PKI management (Cloud or On-prem).
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft security suite is preferred.
- Familiarity with Antivirus Software, Host-based firewall, Full Disk Encryption, Application Whitelisting, File Integrity Monitoring.
- Knowledge of Email Security protocols (SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
- Working knowledge of EDR solutions is a plus.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
