About the position

The Senior ServiceNow Developer at ASSYST is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new ServiceNow applications and modules, as well as customizing existing ones. This hybrid role requires collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements, automate workflows, and provide ongoing technical support, ensuring successful project delivery and quality assurance through thorough testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new ServiceNow applications and modules.
• Configure and customize existing ServiceNow applications.
• Build custom workflows, forms, and user interfaces.
• Integrate ServiceNow with other systems using APIs.
• Automate workflows to streamline processes.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure quality of applications.
• Provide ongoing technical support to end-users.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• 8+ years of proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and capabilities.
• Experience in the water and wastewater industry, preferably with Oracle utility applications.
• Demonstrated experience working on large-scale projects in diverse team environments.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Jelly, and AngularJS.
• Strong understanding of ITIL framework and best practices.
• Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and CSM.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems using APIs and web services.
• Ability to design and implement automated workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and platforms (e.g., Azure).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
