About the position

The Senior Software Developer at Data Recognition Corporation (DRC) is responsible for building and supporting enterprise-level products, particularly focusing on a next-generation test bank. This role involves working primarily with Angular, Node.js, AWS DynamoDB, and cloud/serverless technologies. The developer will collaborate with a team that includes QA, BA, PM, and other developers, contributing to the innovative and disruptive solutions in the educational assessment space.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support enterprise-level products using Angular, Node.js, and AWS DynamoDB.
• Collaborate with team members including QA, BA, PM, and other developers.
• Participate in unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and load testing.
• Review and understand business requirements and create technical design documentation.
• Work within Agile methodologies to deliver software solutions.
• Manage multiple job functions simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Experience with Angular 2+ and higher versions.
• Experience with Node.js.
• Familiarity with cloud/serverless technologies.
• Experience with work management tools such as JIRA.
• Proven experience with Open Source development tools like Jenkins and Git.
• Strong understanding of enterprise-class system concepts including Deployment, Performance, Scalability, Availability, and Security.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Microservices architecture experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, or relevant work experience.
