About The Position

The Senior Software Developer role at Oracle-Responsys involves designing, developing, and implementing products and technologies within the Responsys Interact Suite, which is a leader in Interactive Online Marketing. This position requires a passion for solving complex problems in distributed computing and high-volume transaction processing, while also expanding the product suite to maintain Oracle-Responsys's competitive edge. As a senior member of the development team, the individual will work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the overall success of the product.

Requirements

  • BE / BTech / MS/MCA or other relevant technical degree is a must.
  • 6 years of professional related experience in JAVA/J2EE and object-oriented application development.
  • Excellent object-oriented programming, unit testing, debugging, and code organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate analytic and problem-solving skills, particularly in application design, development, and infrastructure.
  • Extensive experience with Spring, Microservices, Kafka, JMS, Relational database & SQL.
  • Ability to quickly learn and develop expertise in highly complex existing applications & architectures.
  • Experience with high volume distributed application development in a SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement new product features and enhancements with quality.
  • Participate in design and architecture decisions.
  • Work with product management to define new product requirements.
  • Demonstrate creativity in identifying effective approaches to software and solution development processes.
  • Acquire knowledge of existing code and refactor code as needed to meet the needs of the evolving platform.
  • Collaborate with QA to ensure that products contain features that provide for efficient and effective testing.
