About the position

As a Senior Software Engineer at StubHub, you will play a crucial role in transforming the live event experience for millions of users. You will design and develop next-generation technologies and complex features, tackling significant challenges and bringing innovative technical solutions to life. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain impactful improvements across all StubHub's platforms and products.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure best practices across our code.
• Manage individual initiative priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with your technical expertise.
• Mentor other team members and help many increase their technical capabilities.

Requirements

• 5-6+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Extensive experience developing robust systems using multiple front-end and back-end programming languages and frameworks (Java, C#, Python, React, Javascript).
• Previous experience designing and developing features for consumer-facing products.
• A strong understanding of how their systems interact with the broader production environment, including dependencies and platform primitives.
• Proven ability to learn other coding languages, platforms, frameworks, and tools.
• Experience owning projects from the initial idea all the way to production, and mentoring junior engineers along the way.
