About the position
NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to enhance the data ingestion platform within the Autonomous Driving division. This role focuses on improving the efficiency and reliability of data pipelines that support machine learning initiatives for autonomous vehicles, ensuring that vast amounts of sensor-generated data are effectively processed and made available for AI development.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and scale data ingestion pipelines for continuous and reliable AV data flow.
- Monitor data pipelines and services for data availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to improve data processing efficiency and reduce latency.
- Implement validation and data quality checks for data integrity and accuracy.
- Work closely with the AV development team to understand data requirements and enhance data-driven solutions.
Requirements
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of industry experience.
- Proficiency in Golang and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of computer science principles and data science.
- Highly motivated and passionate about state-of-the-art technologies.
- Excellent communication and planning skills.
- Willingness to solicit and incorporate feedback with a continuous improvement mindset.
