About The Position

Requirements

• Good proficiency in Swift and iOS application architecture.

• A desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment.
• Knowledge of supporting tools like Figma, Charles, and Postman.
• Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles is a plus.
• Experience in the retail industry is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering, or 5 years' experience in software engineering.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering.
• Background in creating inclusive digital experiences and knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core features in the shopping funnel of Sam's Club iOS application.
• Work closely with product and design teams to optimize the experience for iOS platform.
• Understand complex architecture and add enhancements to existing solutions.
• Write unit tests and improve code coverage for unit tests.
• Experiment with new technologies and features and build quick prototypes.
• Participate in managing code & configurations for multiple environments and release management process.
• Analyze business requirements, develop UI/UX, and support QA in the scrum process.
• Lead the discovery phase of medium to large projects to create high-level designs.
• Troubleshoot business and production issues.
• Ensure inclusion of business vision and industry trends to drive results.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
