About The Position

The Senior Software Engineer (Magento/PHP) at Relias is a strategic and high-energy role focused on developing and delivering innovative E-commerce solutions using the Magento 2.x framework and Craft CMS. This position involves leading a team of developers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to industry best practices while contributing to the overall success of healthcare organizations through technology.

Requirements

  • 7+ years Magento development
  • 7+ years PHP development
  • 5+ years CMS development
  • Experience with enterprise-level Magento projects
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Advanced understanding and application of Magento architecture
  • Advanced proficiency in object-oriented programming principles and practices
  • Advanced proficiency in PHP development and unit testing
  • Advanced proficiency in CMS platforms for building templates and front-end components (Craft preferred)
  • Experience with accessibility standards and best practices
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior developers
  • Intermediate proficiency in at least one cloud platform
  • Foundational knowledge of microservice architecture
  • Advanced proficiency in Vue.js and API development, including GraphQL or similar technologies.

  • Magento certification
  • Experience with Twig templates and TypeScript

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain scalable, high-quality software solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Mentor a team of developers to maximize productivity and efficiency, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Design and implement innovative solutions to complex technical problems, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to ensure the accuracy and completeness of specifications.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes to ensure high standards of software quality and performance.
  • Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure seamless deployment and maintenance of applications.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in the software industry to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
