About The Position

The Senior Software Engineer, Mobile at Universal Orlando Resort will leverage Flutter to develop large-scale mobile applications that enhance guest experiences across theme parks. This role involves collaboration with various technical teams to design, code, and deliver complex mobile solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with business requirements gathering and analysis.
• Solid background in software development with hands-on coding experience.
• Proven experience in system design and development.
• Strong understanding of information processing principles and practices.
• Extensive knowledge of mobile languages and design patterns, particularly Flutter and Dart.
• Proficient with Git and branching strategies.
• Experience with RESTful APIs using JSON.
• Experience working in Agile/scrum methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience developing in global enterprise engineering projects or teams.
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement mobile solutions using Flutter.
• Act as a mobile domain expert for development teams during implementation.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and vendors to provide estimates and develop applications.
• Confer with delivery teams and management to refine business requirements and resolve technical issues.
• Execute strategies determined by technical leadership within the mobile organization.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies to recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Build and maintain a repository for deliverables.
• Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities.
