Senior Software Engineer (Robust Intelligence)

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of our cutting-edge AI defense platform to help our customers confidently deploy and manage AI systems.
• Ensure excellent user experience and platform reliability, with a focus on scalability, performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with other engineering groups to drive platform enhancements and feature development, aligning with both product and engineer requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Cisco Security Business group to address the security challenges of AI systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 4 years or Master's degree plus a minimum of 2 years of industry experience in Software development, with a focus on building scalable SaaS applications.
• Experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Go, Python).
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with API frameworks (e.g. swagger, OpenAPI, GraphQL) and service framework (e.g., Django, Spring).

Nice-to-haves

• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex requirements and propose effective solutions.
• Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining applications in AWS environment with cloud native solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Protobuf, GraphQL and Go.
• Prior experience in B2B enterprise software development and an understanding of the security field and risk management.
