Responsibilities

  • Manage and be accountable for the demand vs. supply balance for the Cell Therapy franchise by analyzing and interpreting critical supply constraints.
  • Develop models to analyze and smooth supply by incorporating critical constraints across nodes.
  • Maintain network supply planning rules and systems to enable on-time delivery of monthly plan for all demand streams (commercial, clinical, non-human use) within S&OP horizon.
  • Create and maintain rough cut global master schedule for all capacity nodes on a rolling 36-month horizon.
  • Create scenario plans for 'what if' scenarios and provide assessment on impact to demand vs. supply balance.
  • Own data gathering, analysis, insight extraction, recommendation generation, and material preparation in support of monthly stakeholder meetings such as Global Supply Review and Cell Therapy S&OP meetings.
  • Collaborate with global Business Process Owners and IT to identify, pilot, and implement systemic tool (e.g. SAP IBP) to manage global master scheduling.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
  • Support the annual budget planning process as required.
  • Perform other job-related functions as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • Sr Specialist Level: 1+ years professional experience with supply chain, demand/supply/production planning, inventory, analytics, information systems, BI/data visualization, project planning, process improvement and/or reporting.
  • Manager Level: 3+ years professional experience with supply chain, demand/supply/production planning, inventory, analytics, information systems, BI/data visualization, project planning, process improvement and/or reporting.
  • Exceptional technical and analytical ability to extract, analyze, synthesize, and interpret complex data.
  • Ability to translate analysis into key takeaways and actionable reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of demand and supply planning process and business planning.
  • Proven collaboration and teamwork skills with a track record of execution with cross-functional and matrix teams.
  • Advanced Excel Skills (pivot tables, macros) and PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Clear communicator who is organized, detail oriented and can interact cross-functionally and with global teams across organizational levels.
  • Possess outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills; detail-oriented systems thinker who can understand impacts across supply chain.
  • Efficiently manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and is comfortable with ambiguity; can handle requests that do not have substantial detail.
  • Curious, inquisitive, and interested to learn more about Supply Chain, Operations Planning and Cell Therapy.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred but not required: certification in APICS CPIM, CSCP, and/or CLTD.
