About the position

UPM Raflatac is seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team in Asheville, NC at our Biltmore Park office. This role is pivotal in contributing to our annual regional marketing planning and executing regional marketing strategies, campaigns, and activities in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. As a frontrunner in developing renewable alternatives to fossil-based materials, we are committed to creating a sustainable future and this position plays a crucial role in communicating our mission and values to a wider audience. In this position, you will develop and implement internal and external marketing campaigns tailored for the Americas region. You will be responsible for creating engaging marketing content and collateral that resonates with our target audiences across various channels. Additionally, you will plan and execute digital marketing campaigns utilizing direct marketing and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce Account Engagement and Pardot. Your role will also involve overseeing our participation in conferences, expos, and events, ensuring that our presence is impactful and aligns with our brand messaging. You will manage the product launch process, aligning actions with regional internal stakeholders, and report on the regional marketing budget spend. Tracking and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) for both internal and external marketing activities will be essential to measure the success of our initiatives. Furthermore, you will coordinate various marketing-related administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations within the team. Responsibilities

  • Contribute to annual regional marketing planning and execution of regional marketing strategies, campaigns, and activities together with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement internal and external marketing campaigns and activities in the Americas region, in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Create engaging marketing content and collateral for both internal and external marketing needs and channels.
  • Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns using direct marketing and marketing automation (Salesforce Account Engagement/Pardot).
  • Oversee the execution of our participation in conferences, expos, and events, both virtual and face-to-face.
  • Manage and contribute to product launch process priorities and align actions with regional internal stakeholders.
  • Report regional marketing budget spend.
  • Align on and report the key performance indicators (KPIs) for internal and external marketing activities.
  • Coordinate various marketing-related administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, or digital marketing with a successful track record in brand and marketing communications.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages, particularly Spanish, is desirable.
  • Familiarity with digital consumer journeys, lead generation & nurturing, inbound marketing, and social media content development strategies.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools (Pardot, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.) is an asset.
  • Comfortable using Adobe tools for content creation.
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) is an asset.
  • Motivated, proactive, and result-oriented work ethic.
  • Ability to work well individually and in teams.
  • Adept at organizing, open to change, and skilled in project coordination.
  • Experience in working within international companies is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel in the U.S. and internationally as required.
