About the position
The Senior Specialist, Program Finance - Earned Value Management is responsible for the financial management, review, and forecasting of assigned programs within the Aerospace & Defense industry. This role involves partnering with program management and project teams to analyze financial positions, prepare various financial reports, validate cost reporting, and support project setup and maintenance within financial systems. The Analyst will also provide financial guidance to ensure accurate project performance and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage financial reporting and analysis for assigned programs on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Provide financial guidance to the program management office.
- Support the maintenance of financial forecasts, including Estimates at Completion (EACs) and Latest Revised Estimates (LREs).
- Utilize Delta Cobra Earned Value Management tool for financial analysis and reporting.
- Perform program cost analysis and reconciliation, generating monthly earned value metrics.
- Support the monthly close process to ensure timely and accurate project reporting.
- Assist with special projects as directed by management, including reconciliations and cleanup of migrated or closed projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related experience, or 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
- 2+ years of experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
- 2+ years of experience with Costpoint, SAP, or other ERP systems.
- 2+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS) concepts and processes.
- 2+ years of experience creating and maintaining pivot tables and v-lookup in Excel and PowerPoint.
- US citizenship required.
