Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer

About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing AI and Machine Learning team. This role is critical to advancing our cybersecurity products by developing and implementing cutting-edge machine learning algorithms. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in machine learning, paired with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation in the cybersecurity domain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform groundbreaking research while working side by side with top-notch data scientists, engineering and PM teams.
• Conduct research to stay current on the latest machine learning techniques and trends, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation within the organization.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of deployed models, making continuous improvements to enhance their accuracy and reliability.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent military experience required.
• 5+ years of ML engineering experience required.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in machine learning, such as Python or R.
• Experience with one or more cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP and their services (DataFlow, BigQuery, Athena etc) and Kubernetes preferred.
• Strong background in statistical analysis, data mining, and data preprocessing techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively and analytically.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and challenges preferred.
