The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in market research, political consulting, or public policy, and will serve as an internal project manager, overseeing day-to-day client management and research design planning. In this position, the Senior Strategy Associate will draft questionnaires, manage internal teams to collect and analyze data, and assist in drafting research reports and client presentations. This role also involves participating in business development and proposal writing, providing an opportunity to grow in responsibility and develop skills in research design, client management, project management, and team leadership. The work environment is collaborative, casual, and fun, with a strong emphasis on valuing people above profits. The position offers a flexible schedule, including some evening and weekend hours, and is currently remote due to the pandemic, with future office presence to be determined. Responsibilities

  • Serve as an internal project manager for qualitative and quantitative research projects.
  • Manage day-to-day client interactions and project timelines.
  • Plan research design and draft questionnaires for studies.

  • Participate in business development and proposal writing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with strong quantitative skills, or 3+ years related work experience in politics, public policy, advocacy, consulting, or public opinion/market research.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to visualize data for presentations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of statistics and quantitative research.

Nice-to-haves

  • Foundation in research design and analysis.
  • Experience in political campaigns or public policy.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and understanding of descriptive statistics and crosstabulations.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% within the U.S. when travel is deemed safe.
