About the position

The Senior Systems Administrator role at INSPYR Solutions involves managing and administering servers in a multi-OS, hybrid IT environment. The position focuses on best practice analysis, system improvements, IT security, and ensuring the integrity and availability of IT systems. This is a 12-month contract position that offers a hybrid work model, with the possibility of remote work within Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Administration of servers in a multi-OS, hybrid IT environment.
• Best Practice analysis of existing systems and processes.
• Collaborates in a team to develop and implement systems and process improvements.
• Analysis and remediation of IT Security issues.
• Root-cause issue analysis and remediation.
• Ensures the confidentiality, integrity and availability of IT systems and applications.
• Performs other duties and special projects as needed.

Requirements

• Demonstrated effective verbal and written skills
• Demonstrated holistic understanding of IT environments
• Strong Windows Administration (Emphasis on AD, Group Policy, security, scripting)
• Strong IT Security background
• Linux Administration
• Physical and Virtual Infrastructure
• ERP systems and enterprise applications

Nice-to-haves

• Minimum 10 year experience in IT Systems Administration.
• Certifications or commensurate experience in IT Security
• Windows Active Directory
• VMware virtualization
