The Systems Engineering Electronic Warfare (EW) Electronic Support (ES) Systems Department is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer committed and passionate about creating innovative and cost-effective EW solutions to support the Advanced Airborne RF (AARF) business area relating to Electronic Support (ES) and Electronic Attack (EA) capability development. This position is an onsite role.

Responsibilities

  • Determine the requirements for a product or system based on customer information and provide traceability to these requirements.
  • Capture requirements in specific documents such as specifications and interface control documents.
  • Ensure requirements are clear, concise, understandable, and verifiable.
  • Trace the flow of requirements between different parts of the program to ensure all areas have complete information appropriate to their activity.
  • Assess the impact of requirement changes on the overall system and subsystems, and track and control implemented changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Five (5) years of professional experience in systems design and requirements engineering on EW/Radar programs.
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (Cameo Enterprise Architecture, SysML specifically), digital thread concepts, digital engineering, and MBSE with DevSecOps.
  • Active and transferable Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong RF experience and knowledge of microwave modules.
  • Technical team leadership experience of minimum of three engineers.
  • Earned Value Management / Cost Account Management experience.
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with investigation within five years.
